Preaching at Wawasee Bible focuses on what Jesus has done to rescue, redeem, and restore us by his work on the cross. God’s Word is clear that apart from Jesus Christ, we’re hopeless to save ourselves. So rather than offer self-help that would explain how you can make your life better, we preach repentance and how in turning to Jesus, he will make you better.
As a general rule we preach through entire books of the bible, verse by verse, explaining how all of it points to Jesus.

Life Away from Home
We begin a new 5-part series called "Life in the Age of Outrage" this week. Inspired by and borrowing from the 2018 book from Dr. Ed Stetzer, "Christians in the Age of Outrage", this series will explore how, as followers of Jesus, we can bring our best to a world at its worst. After a lengthy introduction to the series, we dive into 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 and explore what it means to be an "ambassador" of Jesus Christ. We are sent by a King with a message of reconciliation to a foreign land. This earth is not our home, and as Christians we must live like it.
