Preaching at Wawasee Bible focuses on what Jesus has done to rescue, redeem, and restore us by his work on the cross. God’s Word is clear that apart from Jesus Christ, we’re hopeless to save ourselves. So rather than offer self-help that would explain how you can make your life better, we preach repentance and how in turning to Jesus, he will make you better.
As a general rule we preach through entire books of the bible, verse by verse, explaining how all of it points to Jesus.

A Prophet with a Problem
Habakkuk was an Old Testament prophet with a problem. Specifically, a problem with God. He was troubled both with God's silence and his actions. Yet as we read the book of Habakkuk, we see him discover the solution of living by faith, trusting God to prevail, assured he would come through. We can trust God in the same way through the midst of our own struggles and doubts. (Tom Speicher is the founding pastor of Wawasee Bible.)
