Our default is to think that Jesus will eventually grow tired of us. That his love for us is somehow conditional upon us and is in danger of running out. This is because that’s how WE are. But thankfully Jesus is not like us! We see in John 6:37 and elsewhere that he will not forsake his own. In a world of rejection, Jesus will NEVER cast you out—so you can always run to Jesus!
