When Pilate questions him, Jesus makes no bones about the fact that his Kingdom is not of this world. Too often we look for the solutions to every social ill horizontally, on this earth, when the solution is not to the left or to the right, but above us. As followers of Jesus we are citizens of heaven, and it’s from THAT place we await a Savior, Jesus Christ. Where is your citizenship? Your residence may be on the earth, but your citizenship is in heaven. And Christians are ambassadors of Jesus, sent to love people and invite them to follow Jesus with us.
